Downloading The Music

Download with confidence - The recording industry has whipped us into believing that downloading music off the Internet is wrong. Yet, many recording artists offer free sound files of their music to do what you’re supposed to do with it: listen, enjoy and share with others.

All the music featured on A Limerick Ox is available for download as MP3s approved by the artists or their record labels. A Limerick Ox will never link to an MP3 hosted on someone else’s site who has not been granted the rights to distribute the file legally. So, you can discover great new music and add it to your music library without fear.

Listen to the music - Each post which contains both the MP3 and download tags will contain free and legal music to check out. If you click on the link, your web browser will load the MP3 and you will be able to listen it to it right then and there. Note that the audio may be choppy on slower Internet connections.

Download the music - If you like the song, you can download a copy to your computer right from your web browser. For this you need to open your browser’s contextual menu.

  • Windows users should right-click on the link to open up the contextual menu.
