In fact, I am most assuredly more of a Rubdown fan than Wolf Parade. I can appreciate how good "Queen Mary" was, but "Spirit Lover" makes it happen much more for me. Unlike many people, I'm not an immediate shoo-in for eating the Wolf Parade cake and calling it gourmet. (Did that even make sense?) Considering that, "Call It A Ritual" is a really strong track and makes me rather hopeful for the album. Moreso than just knowing "there's a new Wolf Parade coming out." But I hear you. I'll hold back from posting anything like the 50 other million blogs who also posted this mp3. It's an alright track but at only 2:45 I need more Wolf Parade! This better not be a disappointment like the Long Blondes record...I hated the songs that were being hyped and sure enough I hated the album... Interesting interpretation.
