Ladyhawk
Another entry in the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith saga
So it is not without some relief we recently learned that the Guitar Hero title dedicated to Aerosmith (which I’ve mentioned before) isn’t going to be exclusively all Aerosmith all the time. Turns out that, according to the press release, we will be able to play songs “from celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way.”
Now, considering I read that correctly, which I’m sure I did, in case your wondering, and because I want to use a lot of commas in this here sentence, a band that has played at least once with Aerosmith would be eligible to appear as a playable song in the game. Considering that, would it be too late to get Ladyhawk to open for them on a show? I mean, Ladyhawk has all the necessary rock qualifications to get into the game: powerful blues-enriched riffs, rich gooey chord slides, and not to mention their Neil Young-esque effulgence; but maybe that sincere uncompromising sense of darkness which purveys a song like I Don’t Always Know What You’re Saying might come across as too much of a contrast against, I dunno, Love In An Elevator. You know, being a good song, and all.
